About Dean Attari
Film and Video Maker, Photographer, Film Reviewer, and Public Speaker, Dean Attari (birth name, Idean Attarzadeh) is a graduate of Concordia University's Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema and Trebas Institute. He is also the president and founder of his own company: Dean Attari Productions.
Passionate about film and media-work, Attari, Canadian-born Persian, speaks 3 languages: English, French, and Farsi. He uses his above-mentioned skills for business purposes and cooperates with other companies and producers.
In the field of film and/or video making, Attari has knowledge as a Director, Editor, Screenwriter, Camera Operator, Director of Photography, Script Supervisor, and Sound Recordist. The film genres he specializes in are Drama, Comedy, and Experimental. The filmmakers that inspire him are ones he studied like Charlie Chaplin, Spike Lee, Maya Deren, and Quentin Tarantino. Attari has the capability to occupy more than one job on a set.
