Camera Operator and

Director of Photography

With his passion making him physically well-active, Attari also knows how to film the act and performance itself. He can position cameras accordingly and work with lights.

List of Cameras he works with:

                             - Nikon D7100

                             - Panasonic AF100

                             - Sony PMW-200

                             - Sony PMW-500

Film and Television

In order to begin materializing a vision, Attari taps into his photography skills to make or draw shot lists that would later become film footage for the film itself. In addition to being a Camera Operator for short films, he has also occupied the Director of Photography position where he directed the camera operator, the gaffer, and key grip on how to film the footage. An exemplar project in these positions is the short film produced from Trebas Institute, Far From The Tree, for which he was the Director of Photography. A second exemplar project is the short film he produced himself, The Lonely Road, for which he filmed most of the images and directed the camera operator on how to film the footage when either he wasn't operating the camera or he was appearing in front of it. In Good Morning Walter and Thirsty?, he both filmed the images and appeared in them by, for example, placing the camera on a tripod and doing trials and errors with the position.  For Television, he was a Camera Operator for a few episodes of La Table de Maria on ICI Television.

Event Coverage

Filming special events with a camera is one of the ways Attari can cover a special event, the other ways are Photography and Film Reviewing. He has helped cover several events as a press member by filming, for example, live performances (singing and/or dancing) and interviews. He has helped cover, as a Camera Operator, film festivals such as the Montreal International Black Film Festival, award ceremonies like The Latin Awards Canada, fashion events like Fashion in the City Montreal, and music festivals like Nuit d'Afrique. He has also helped cover, as a Camera Operator, C2 Montreal.
